Best buffets in Las Vegas

Regardless of whether you play all night and want a good breakfast before going to sleep or whether you want to compliment your gambling action with a filling lunch or dinner, Vegas casino restaurants gives you a large selection of moderately-priced buffets. Vegas buffets are famous for giving patrons a good value with delicious food at affordable prices.

Some of the buffets are in privately-owned restaurants and others are part of a casino complex but all are open to everyone.

Some of Vegas’s best buffets include:

Studio B

The Studio B Buffet is located within the M Resort Hotel complex and its décor is consistent with the M Resort architectural scheme. The lighting is soft and highlights the color palette of orange, cream, gold and rich browns.

Diners who sit in the back of the dining room have views of the expanse of the city through the stunning bay windows. Just so no one forgets that they’re located in a casino there are 116 video screens that feature hotel promotions, clips from the Food Network and in-house cooking demonstrations from the show kitchen.

Everything is prepared daily and diners have their choice of any of the 200 items on the menu including paella, barbequed ribs, build-your-own nachos, wood-fired pizzas and numerous types of sushi. Beer and wine are complimentary.

Cravings

The overall architectural design of The Mirage carries over to Cravings, the well-known buffet that has served Mirage patrons for many years. The Mirage has been designed by Italian-trained architect Adam Tihany and features a modern, colorful interior that surrounds a charcuterie station of meats, cheese, fruits, crackers and bread. Salads are custom-prepared for guests and include premium ingredients and toppings.

Many people view Cravings as “the ultimate buffet.” There are food stations organized by region (Chinese, Latin, Italian etc) and/or type of food (barbecue, sushi, pasta) Guests are invited to partake of unlimited wine and beer (loosen up inhibitions for the return to the casino floor!). On Saturdays and Sundays there’s a Champagne brunch buffet and, of course, is served with unlimited bubbly.

The Buffet

Wynn Resorts International specializes in serving high-end clientele and their buffet showcases their commitment to extravagance. The atmosphere of The Buffet is wide, bright and airy with green colors, stunning topiaries, colourful canopies and marble floor accents.

Before you even choose your live action cooking station you’ll come across a large chocolate fountain where you dip marshmallows, cookies, rice cereal treats and fruit into flowing dark, white or milk chocolate.

Once you sit down you’ll see the traditional buffet offerings combined with the atmosphere of a five-star restaurant.  There are 120 dishes from which to choose including a genuine dish of spaghetti and meatballs using Frank Sinatra’s family’s recipe. Other specialties include Guinness-braised short ribs, street tacos prepared on a giant rotating griddle and made-to-order fresh sushi.

The chocolate delights can be eaten before, during, and after the main meal.

Cosmopolitan

The Wicked Spoon in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas combines modernity and elegance with a unique culinary experience.  The décor is modern and elegant with oranges, browns and other warm earth tones. The food is served on small plates because the buffet wants to encourage customers to try everything.

Wicked Spoon is divided into various sections including  a salad area, seafood a station, a carving station and areas dedicated to both Asian and Italian cuisines. Desserts are a highlight with pastries, cake pops, cookies and a gelato bar where you can find unique flavors like salted caramel peanut and strawberry balsamic.

Paris Le Village Buffet

What other type of buffet would you find in the Paris Las Vegas than a French-inspired Paris Le Village Buffet. The buffet is decorated like a small French village with each food station representing the cuisine of a different province in France.

The crêpe station is a given and customers can order a  sweet or savory crêpe made-to-order.  Savory crêpes are available but the crème de la creme is “the monkey,” a dessert crêpe made with Nutella, whipped cream, bananas and hazelnuts.  There are also traditional French dishes along with buffet favorites.

Bellagio Buffet

The Bellagio presents the Bellagio Buffet with seafood, salads and desserts.  So far it sounds like standard fare but it’s pretty sure that you won’t find the type of food that is served at the Bellagio at any other restaurant. The buffet is designed to resemble a village town and the food complements that décor with hearty ahi poke, salmon roulade, rotisserie chicken, honey and pineapple-glazed ham and tofu glass noodle salad. The white chocolate Nutella parfait is a treat that you won’t soon forget but there’s also seasonal fruits and parfaits.

Bacchanal Buffet

Caesars Palace’s Bacchanal Buffet brings you into a sophisticated yet welcoming décor where the rooms surround glass, wood and steel. Bacchanal employs a team of specialized chefs who create culinary delights right in front of the patrons.

There are Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Italian and American comfort food favorites along with 15 daily chef’s specials. That means that every time that you go to the Bacchanal Buffet you get a different experience. There are also vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Carnival World and Seafood Buffet

The Carnival World and Seafood Buffet is located in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The buffet exudes an energy of a cruise ship adventure though if you don’t want to eat at one of the buffet stations you can move to a booth in the sectioned-off secluded area.

The made-to-order teppenyaki station is the buffet’s highlight. Patrons can create their own dish according to their tastes. There are also live action coking stations where the chefs produce Chinese, Japanese and Mexican dishes. The eatery specializes in seafood options and there is almost an endless array of seafood choices.

Feast Around the World Buffet

The Green Valley Ranch Resort invites Vegas visitors to the Feast Around the World Buffet which delivers a wide variety of international culinary favorites plus wholesome staples. The prices are off-Strip, making the Feast Around the World Buffet a favorite for budget-conscious travelers. There are six live-action cooking stations that provide healthy and hearty fare. On weekends there’s a Champagne brunch and the made-to-order milkshakes are available at any time of the day or night.
